CheckMyEV was set up by Dan, a former I.T. specialist with I.B.M. after ten years of driving electric vehicles. Dan remains a petrolhead yet is a convert to EVs and has developed a particular interest in battery health.
Dan started out testing the batteries of the EVs that he owned, before branching out into providing battery reports to the motor trade.
He has invested in the AVILOO market-leading diagnostic tools and is an AVILOO Certified Service Partner. The recently updated software (June 2025) is truly game changing and provides a very comprehensive healthcheck.
In his spare time, Dan organises a local EV group, has volunteered for the GreenPower Educational Trust and has spoken and exhibited at a number of EV/Green Technology events in the South of England. This year Dan is hoping to have a stand at the Everything Electric show in Farnborough.
